The Praja Shakthi National Campaign to Eradicate Poverty - Praja Shakthi Gram Dasaka Vad Dasaka Inaugural Program was initially launched from the Kataragama Grama Niladhari Division and under it, the foundation stone for the construction of a tube well, water tank and support structure at the Mo/Gothamigama Junior College was laid today. The government has allocated Rs. 2,000,000.00 as a provision for this program and the event was attended by the Assistant Divisional Secretary of the Kataragama Divisional Secretariat, Mr. N.C. Weerasinghe, the Honorable Chairman of the Kataragama Pradeshiya Sabha, Mr. H.M.D. Herath, political representatives, the Principal of Mo/Gothamigama Junior College, students and government officials.
